In 2007 elected as president of the EAMHID. In that time director of the Centre of Consultation and Expertise in the Netherlands and worked there for 15 years.
In october 2008 CEO St. Arduin, a serviceprovider in the South-West of the Netherlands, with a totalconcept of inclusion.
As a psychologist and educationalist I focused on persons with intellectual disability and very challenging behavior. Now I try to find other concepts to prevent or diminish challenging behavior by focusing on quality of life and inclusion.
I was the president of the 7th congress EAMHID 2009 in Amsterdam and from now on vice-president of the EAMHID. |
